Wario World
Developer: Nintendo Publisher: Nintendo Of America Console: GameCube Genre: Action / Adventure Number of Players: 1 Release Date (USA): November 11, 2002 ESRB Rating: E Features
![]() Company Line / Game Summary Deep within Wario's castle lies a treasure room filled with the spoils he has plundered during his many adventures. A mysterious black jewel, ensconced among the treasures, has a strange power to transform gems into monsters. While Wario rests in his castle upstairs the jewel begins to morph his treasure trove into a host of monsters, turning the basement of Wario's beloved castle into a bizarre parallel universe. Awakening the next morning to monsters instead of treasure, Wario must step into that alternate world to win the treasure back.![]() My Take Wario finally makes his appearance on a non-handheld console in his very own adventure. It will be interestingly to see how Wario World will play though. Hopefully it will retain the classic game play of the previous Wario games on the Game Boy. I’m definitely looking forward to trying this game out when it’s released in November!Anticipation: 9/10 Previewed by: Eric Brown on May 24, 2002 Go back to the top of the page. |
