Company Line / Game Summary

Capcom Entertainment today announced plans to release Resident Evil 0 (Zero) for the Nintendo GameCube this fall. Resident Evil 0 is the prequel to Resident Evil, the game that started it all. Utilizing the GameCube's advanced processing power, Resident Evil 0 promises to amaze players with flawless animation, living environments and the best graphics in a video game ever! Created by Shinji Mikami, Capcom's master of horror, the Resident Evil series is now exclusive to Nintendo's GameCube system and ready to scare fans around the world. The Resident Evil series has sold more than 20 million units since its introduction in 1996.

Bad zombie, Bad!

My Take

This will be the first totally brand new Resident Evil game released in many years. It will feature the same graphics as the Resident Evil remake did! The graphics will be slightly improved though. Although they are still pre-rendered, the backgrounds have more animation then ever before. Finally, Capcom has decided to get rid of the item box in favor of just letting the character dropping there weapons when they want to. Definitely one of the most anticipated titles this year!

Anticipation: 10/10
