Developer: Nintendo Publisher: Nintendo Of America Console: GameCube Genre: Racing Number of Players: 4 Release Date (USA): 2003 ESRB Rating: E My Take It has been 6 years since the last Mario Kart game was released on a non-handheld console. Mario Kart for GameCube was shown at E3 2001. It showed Mario and Luigi racing on a racetrack with no background present. When E3 2002 came around Mario Kart was no where to be found. Rumors are that it could have been shown, but Nintendo is experimented with drastically changing the game. They didn’t want to show the game in it’s unfinished state. A lot of people think that this will be the first Nintendo developed online game when it comes out next year. Let’s hope the rumors are true. 2003 will be the year of Mario Kart.
