EA announced today that The Sims are coming to the GameCube! I also updated the release dates for February. Check it out!

The Top 20 video game titles for the year 2002 in the U.S. were revealed by NPD Funworld recently and unfourtanetly only 1 GameCube title made it in the top 20. The game was Super Mario Sunshine and it came in 10th place.

Seven new games were announced from Acclaim recently! First up is the first ever street soccer game: Urban Freestyle Soccer. The long running NBA Jam series makes a return with NBA Jam 2004. Another new game is SX Superstar, which is a motorbike game featuring a unique career mode. Also a new entry in the Extreme-G series was announced: XGRA. The other three games are: I, Gladiator, Speed Kings, and Paris Dakar 2: Special Stages Racing.

I would like to bring to your attention a survey that Midway has up on there web site. It's a survey about the San Francisco Rush games and what the next Rush game should have in it. It looks like I was right when I said that Midway was secretly making a new Rush game! Go take the survey now!

The first update of the new year is finally here. Three games ship to stores today: Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and Tom Clancy's: The Sum Of All Fears. On January 6, Dragon's Lair 3D shipped to stores. Also the last game of last year was released on December 31, it was The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
